IG Islamabad’s Major Gift for the Force: Approval of Promotions for 125 Officers and Personnel, DIG Headquarters Congratulates Promoted Officers

12 Sub-Inspectors have been promoted to Inspector, 9 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) to Sub-Inspector, and 105 Head Constables to ASI positions, with formal notifications issued.

Islamabad (Report by Mansoor Zafar, Crime Reporter) IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has taken a significant step for the Islamabad Police by approving the promotion of 125 officers and personnel to the next ranks. According to details, among those promoted, 12 Sub-Inspectors have been elevated to Inspector, 9 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) to Sub-Inspector, while 105 Head Constables have been promoted to ASI positions.
The Islamabad Police has stated that all formal notifications for the promotions have also been issued. The promoted officers and personnel expressed their happiness and appreciation for IG Islamabad’s initiative. Promotions were granted to the Islamabad Police officers under the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. In this regard, a prestigious ceremony was held at the Central Police Office Islamabad in honor of the promoted police officers, where IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and DIG Headquarters Muhammad Javad Tariq pinned the Inspector ranks on the promoted officers. On this occasion, IG Islamabad and DIG Headquarters congratulated the promoted officers and expressed their best wishes for them. They stated that the promotions are a recognition of the officers’ hard work, competence, and departmental services; however, with the new positions, their responsibilities have also increased. IG Islamabad instructed the promoted officers to perform their professional duties with diligence, integrity, conscientiousness, and dedication, always prioritizing the rule of law and merit in their duties. He also emphasized the need to further enhance the professional skills and performance of the officers. He urged police officers to adopt a courteous, polite, and professional attitude towards citizens, ensuring timely resolution of their issues and the provision of excellent police services. Police officials stated that timely promotions of officers and personnel will not only boost the morale of the force but also promote further improvements and a sense of responsibility within the policing system.
