Special Attention Should Be Given to Resolving Visa Issues Faced by Pakistani Traders and Investors; Addressing Roundtable Dialogue on Business Cooperation Between Pakistan and Dubai

ISLAMABAD (News Reporter): President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Atif Ikram Sheikh has said that Pakistan and Dubai are partners in every sector and excellent business partners, with vast potential for cooperation in areas including agriculture, development, energy, tourism and others.

He said that Pakistan and Dubai could multiply bilateral trade by promoting cooperation in the logistics sector.

He was addressing a roundtable dialogue on business cooperation between Pakistan and Dubai, hosted by the FPCCI on Monday.

The dialogue session was attended by a high-level delegation from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and prominent members of Pakistan’s business community.

FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh also drew attention to the visa issues faced by Pakistani traders and investors in Dubai and said that the visa issuance process should be made easier, more transparent and faster to promote business activities.

He said that improving business visa facilities would significantly promote trade, investment, tourism and industrial cooperation.

He reiterated that Pakistan and Dubai were partners in every sector and excellent business partners, with vast opportunities for cooperation in agriculture, development, energy, tourism and other fields.

He said that Pakistan and Dubai could multiply bilateral trade by promoting cooperation in logistics. The business communities of Pakistan and Dubai were committed to further expanding mutual cooperation and private partnerships.

He called for joint initiatives to further activate business-to-business relations between the two sides.
