Rawalpindi (Bureau Report) — Ijaz ul Haq, the head of the Muslim League Zia and former federal minister, stated that the mission of martyred President General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq will be continued at all costs, no matter how many difficulties arise.
Speaking at a ceremony held in Rawalpindi on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of former President Zia-ul-Haq, Ijaz ul Haq severely criticized the country’s political and economic situation, saying that today the nation is facing a storm and flood of inflation, with poor people struggling for two meals a day, while the rulers remain oblivious to the ground realities and sleep peacefully.
During the event, he also raised questions about the investigative commissions established regarding the Kargil incident and the assassination of the former president. He stated:
“I always ask every army chief when the reports of the investigative commissions will be completed? Commissions are formed in the country, but their reports are never made public.”
The head of the Muslim League Z reiterated his commitment to continue raising his voice for the rights of the people and the completion of the mission of martyred Zia-ul-Haq. At the end of the ceremony, special prayers were offered for the country’s security, development, and the ease of the inflation-stricken public.
