Islamabad (Crime Reporter) IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi reviewed crime prevention, case investigation, and overall policing. He issued orders to senior police officers to enhance field policing, ensure standard and timely investigations of cases, and continue indiscriminate actions against criminal elements.
According to details, a crime meeting was held under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, attended by DIG Headquarters Muhammad Javad Tariq, SSP Security Operations Suleman Zafar, SP Swat Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf, and other senior police officers. The meeting conducted a detailed review of the overall crime situation in the federal capital, case investigations, field policing, and the provision of better police services to citizens. Relevant officers briefed IG Islamabad on the crime situation, investigative processes, and ongoing actions against criminal elements. IG Islamabad directed that field policing be made more effective for crime prevention, ensuring quality and speed in case investigations, and accelerating indiscriminate actions against criminal elements. He further instructed that available resources and modern technology be effectively utilized to ensure timely identification of crimes, arrest of suspects, and protection of citizens’ lives and property. Any negligence in providing timely relief and quality police services to citizens will not be tolerated. IG Islamabad stated that the Islamabad police will enhance their operations using all available resources for effective crime control, rule of law, and establishing a safe and peaceful environment for citizens.
