Daud Khel (Zia Niazi)   The first project ‘Sanctuary and Care Home’ of Gul Bano Welfare Foundation Registered has been inaugurated in Kalabagh.
This project has been established for the care and support of individuals in society who seek assistance in life. The Sanctuary and Care Home will provide accommodation, support, and care for orphaned and destitute children, disabled children, elderly men, and women, while appropriate facilities will also be provided for newborns and children in need of special care.
The chief guest at the inauguration ceremony was Assistant Commissioner of Isa Khel, Khalil Ahmed, while other distinguished guests included President of the All Welfare Association, Dr. Hanif Khan Niazi, Director of Al-Suffa School System, Shoaib Khan Niazi, Founder of Khatak Belt Foundation, Sameer Tariq Khan, Asad Khan, and President of Gul Bano Welfare Foundation, Inayatullah Khan alias Kaka Khan Murgha, Head of Information Department, Javed Danish, Director of Gul Bano Welfare Danish Academy, Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, In-Charge Center, Muhammad Akbar Khatak, Admin Waseef Khan, and the women’s team of Gul Bano Welfare Foundation in Kalabagh, including Ms. Sameena, Ms. Amina Amjad, along with foundation associates and workers. The event saw a strong participation from disabled children of the area, their parents, supported children, their families, as well as local dignitaries and social figures. Participants praised this unique project of Gul Bano Welfare Foundation, calling it an important step towards humanitarian service.
During the event, Assistant Commissioner Khalil Ahmed praised the charitable services of Gul Bano Welfare Foundation and awarded certificates of appreciation. He stated that the care and service of orphans, disabled, destitute, and elderly individuals in society is a great human responsibility. He described the establishment of the Sanctuary and Care Home as a commendable initiative. According to the foundation’s administration, the primary goal of this project is not only to provide accommodation but also to offer complete support, food, basic necessities of life, care, protection, and an environment to live with dignity and respect. Gul Bano Welfare Foundation has previously continued its humanitarian efforts through the distribution of wheelchairs and other assistive devices to special individuals, free medical and eye camps, ration, clothing, educational support, and other charitable activities. The foundation’s founder, Tariq Zafarullah Khan, stated that ‘Gul Bano Welfare Sanctuary and Care Home’ is the first significant project in the foundation’s charitable journey, aimed at supporting individuals who deserve special attention, protection, and care in society.
At the end of the ceremony, a special prayer was offered for the security, development, prosperity, and welfare of the people of Pakistan. Participants declared this project a proud example of service to Pakistan and humanity on the occasion of Independence Day.
