Islamabad (Crime Reporter) Following special directives from IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, effective measures for foolproof security of churches in the federal capital are ongoing. SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza remained active in the field on Sunday, visiting various churches across the district to conduct a detailed review of security arrangements. The SSP Operations met with police officers and personnel assigned to security duties at the churches, assessed their performance, and issued necessary instructions to further improve security arrangements. He inspected the entry and exit points of the churches, parking areas, surrounding areas, and the overall security plan including the deployed police personnel. During this visit, he also met with the church administration to discuss security-related matters. Qazi Ali Raza stated that the Islamabad police are always active in protecting the lives and property of people of all faiths without discrimination, and providing a safe and peaceful environment for citizens is the police’s top priority. He urged citizens to cooperate fully with the police to enhance security arrangements and to promptly report any suspicious individuals or activities to the relevant police station or the police helpline at 15. The SSP Operations emphasized that mutual cooperation between the police and the public is the foundation of maintaining law and order, and the Islamabad police are performing their duties with national spirit, sense of duty, and high professional capabilities to ensure a safe and peaceful environment in the federal capital.
