The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education have signed an agreement to integrate the student registration system for matriculation and intermediate examinations.
Under the agreement, a system for mutual data exchange has been established, allowing NADRA to provide the Federal Education Board with essential student information from its records, such as name, parentage, and date of birth. This will help reduce the chances of errors and discrepancies during student registration, while the issuance of accurate and reliable educational credentials will also improve related administrative processes.
A digital vault will also be created under the agreement, enabling students to securely access their educational credentials and use them digitally.
This agreement is part of NADRA’s project to integrate national identity and national educational records, under which NADRA is gradually working to streamline digital data transmission with educational boards, universities, and the Higher Education Commission across the country.
The agreement was signed today at NADRA headquarters in Islamabad, with the Chairman of the Federal Education Board, Dr. Ikram Ali Malik, and the Chairman of NADRA also present.
