The condition of Islamabad’s police stations is changing, with the upgradation of Aabpara Police Station now complete.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Aabpara Police Station after its renovation, emphasizing the need to provide citizens with modern and dignified policing facilities.

Islamabad (Izhār Khan Niyāzī) – The condition of Islamabad’s police stations is changing, as the upgradation and renovation work of Aabpara Police Station has been completed, and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated it.

The Interior Minister visited various sections of Aabpara Police Station and inspected the SHO office, Dispute Resolution Committee, inquiry office, waiting area, and other departments. Mohsin Naqvi also reviewed the facilities provided to citizens at various counters and expressed satisfaction with the arrangements for applicants.

The Interior Minister met with the members of the Dispute Resolution Committee and praised their role. He was also given a detailed briefing regarding the upgradation of Aabpara Police Station.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi stated that the purpose of the upgradation is to provide the public with a modern, dignified, and citizen-friendly policing environment. No effort should be spared in addressing the grievances of applicants, and action on citizens’ requests must be ensured in every case.

He directed that no citizen should face unnecessary delays or difficulties in the registration of FIRs. A courteous and responsible attitude should be adopted towards citizens visiting the police stations.

The Interior Minister stated that providing better facilities to citizens at police stations and improving the policing system is among the government’s priorities.

On the occasion of the inauguration, the Inspector General of Islamabad Police, DIG, SSP Operations, and other police officials were also present.
