Attempted land grab foiled, President’s Outer Police arrests 5 individuals
Rawalpindi: (Syed Shahid Waheed Hashmi) The President’s Outer Police, acting promptly on information received via the emergency helpline 15, thwarted an alleged attempt to seize a citizen’s land and arrested five individuals. According to the police, legal action has been initiated against the arrested suspects. A police spokesperson stated that the complainant accused the suspects of attempting to occupy his land along with accomplices, while allegedly stealing his livestock as well. The police have registered a case regarding the incident and have begun interrogating the arrested suspects. The spokesperson added that operations are ongoing to apprehend the suspects’ accomplices and recover the allegedly stolen livestock. SP President Anam Sher stated that the investigation of the case will be completed on merit, and the suspects will be presented in court with solid evidence. He emphasized that actions against illegal attempts to occupy citizens’ properties and lands are being carried out indiscriminately, and effective measures will continue under a zero-tolerance policy against land mafia.
