Zahid Bakhtawari, Vice President of the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board, presented honorary shields to the officers and officials of Civil Defense who perform their duties for the homeland Pakistan with honesty, responsibility, and dedication. Among those honored were Additional Chief Warden of Rawalpindi Civil Defense Azhar Zahid Bakhtawari, Chief Warden of Civil Defense Islamabad Mehr Shahid Iqbal, Civil Defense Officer Rawalpindi Chaudhry Ghulam Mustafa, Divisional Chief Warden Rehan-ul-Haq, along with other officials and personalities of Civil Defense.

On this occasion, Zahid Bakhtawari stated that the officers and volunteers of Civil Defense are fulfilling an important national duty by performing their responsibilities admirably in difficult situations. Defense Day teaches us to fulfill our responsibilities towards the protection, security, and stability of our homeland with even greater dedication and honesty. The services of Civil Defense personnel are commendable, and their encouragement further strengthens the spirit of national service.

The officials of Civil Defense paid tribute to Zahid Bakhtawari for his services, stating that he has always provided strong support to Civil Defense and stood by them in every difficult moment. Civil Defense Officer Rawalpindi Chaudhry Ghulam Mustafa said that Civil Defense is an important national responsibility that requires the full cooperation of the public. Through mutual cooperation between the public and Civil Defense, the protection of people’s lives and property can be ensured in emergency situations.
