DPO Mianwali, Waqar Azeem Kharl, organized an open court at the patrol check post in Fakharabad, under the jurisdiction of Chakrala Police Station, in compliance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, “Justice at Your Doorstep,” and the special orders of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, along with the directives of RPO Sargodha Region, Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan.
In the open court, local dignitaries, elders, and citizens actively participated and presented their issues, complaints, and suggestions before the DPO Mianwali. The DPO listened to all the applications with great attention, issued orders for transparent and immediate action to the relevant officers on the spot, and assured every citizen of timely justice. During the occasion, the DPO Mianwali stated that the Punjab Police is dedicated to serving the public, and the purpose of open courts is to strengthen trust, mutual cooperation, and communication between the police and the public so that citizens’ issues can be resolved at their doorstep. He emphasized that for him, the rich and the poor are equal. Providing impartial justice to every citizen is my top priority, and any injustice against any citizen will not be tolerated. He further stated that police officers should interact with the public with kindness, according to merit and law, and there should be no negligence in addressing citizens’ complaints. Present at the open court were SDPO Musa Khel Asad Abbas Khan, DSP Patrol, SHO Chakrala Police Station, investigative officers, complaint cell in-charge, and other police officials.
