Islamabad (Crime Reporter) Funeral prayers for martyred Assistant Sub-Inspector Maqsood Ali Khan of the Federal Police were held at the Police Lines Headquarters. Martyred Maqsood Ali Khan was severely injured in a traffic accident while on duty and passed away during treatment. The funeral prayers were attended by Inspector General of Islamabad Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, senior police officers, and other police officials and personnel. According to details, the funeral prayers for martyred Assistant Sub-Inspector Maqsood Ali Khan, who was deployed in the Islamabad Traffic Police, were held at the Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad. The prayers were attended by Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, along with senior police officers and other officials and personnel. On this occasion, a smartly turned-out contingent of Islamabad Police presented a salute to the martyred ASI Maqsood Ali Khan. IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi laid a floral wreath on the body of the martyr and prayed for the elevation of his ranks. Martyred ASI Maqsood Ali Khan was severely injured in a traffic accident while performing his duties and succumbed to his injuries during treatment. After the funeral prayers, the martyr’s body was sent to his native area for burial with full state honors. IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi stated that Maqsood Ali Khan sacrificed his life while performing his duties, and his sacrifice will always be regarded with respect and honor. He emphasized that the martyrs of Islamabad Police are our valuable asset, and their sacrifices can never be forgotten. IG Islamabad also assured that the police would never leave the martyr’s family alone at any time and would ensure their welfare, resolution of issues, and all possible assistance. He instructed the relevant officers to provide every possible care for the martyr’s family and to ensure all necessary support from the department.
