Gang Rape Case: All four arrested suspects killed by their own associates, Peshawar Police

Four suspects, including the landlord, allegedly raped two women after breaking into a tenant’s house and harassed a minor girl, later becoming targets of gunfire from their own associates.

Peshawar (Bureau Report) – In the Rahman Baba police station area, all four suspects arrested for allegedly gang-raping two women and harassing a minor girl after breaking into a tenant’s house were killed by gunfire from their own associates, according to Peshawar police, who stated that further investigations into the incident are ongoing.

On the night of September 6, around 2 a.m., four armed individuals, including the landlord, jumped over the wall and entered the tenant’s house. According to police, the suspects held the family hostage at gunpoint, tied up the tenant and his son in one room, while the two women were allegedly raped. The suspects also reportedly harassed a minor girl present in the house and subsequently tied her up with her father.

According to police, the suspects fled the scene after stealing mobile phones and other belongings. The affected family contacted the police a few hours later, leading to the formation of four special teams to arrest the suspects.

SSP Operations Farhan Khan and SSP Investigation Dr. Muhammad Sami Malik stated that the police acted swiftly and arrested all four suspects, recovering weapons and stolen goods from them. During the investigation, the suspects confessed to the crime; however, later, all four arrested suspects were killed by gunfire from their own associates.

Police officials stated that the statements of the affected women were recorded in the presence of female police officers, and they were also provided psychological support. Evidence was collected from the crime scene, and forensic investigations are ongoing, with assistance from the Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory. The statements of the affected women have also been recorded in court.
