The FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad conducted an operation, a case has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is ongoing.

Islamabad (Report: Izhar Khan Niazi) The FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad arrested a human smuggler and agent, Nadeem Masih son of Nazir Masih, who allegedly embezzled 6 million rupees by promising to send a complainant to Canada.

According to the FIA, during the investigation, it was revealed that the accused received 6 million rupees from the complainant by promising to send him to Canada but failed to fulfill that promise.

An FIR No. 592/26 has been registered against the accused. The case includes sections 18 and 22 of the Immigration Ordinance 1979, as well as sections 419, 420, 468, and 471 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

According to FIA officials, the operation was carried out by Inspector Muhammad Azeem and ASI Mazhar Shah. Further investigation of the arrested accused is ongoing, and there is a commitment to continue actions against elements that extort money from citizens under the guise of human smuggling and illegal overseas migration.
