Islamabad (Crime Reporter) IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited the Secretariat Police Station, Shalimar Police Station, and Capital Patrols Headquarters. During the visit, IG Islamabad conducted a detailed review of various departments of the police stations, the police facilities provided to citizens, ongoing activities under SIPS protocols, available facilities for police officers and personnel, and overall administrative matters. According to details, Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited the Secretariat Police Station, Shalimar Police Station, and Capital Patrols Headquarters. During the visit, IG Islamabad inspected the front desk, various departments, and other important sections, and reviewed the police facilities provided to citizens. He also examined the measures taken to ensure a better, clean, and conducive environment for citizens visiting the police stations. IG Islamabad instructed that there should be no negligence or delay in providing police services to citizens while reviewing the duties of police officers and personnel, the overall arrangements of the police stations, and the performance of various departments. He emphasized that citizens’ issues should be resolved on a priority basis and access to police-related services should be further improved. He also inspected the ongoing activities in the police stations under SIPS protocols and reviewed the quality of work, progress, and available facilities. Later, IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited the Capital Patrols Headquarters, where he conducted a detailed review of the unit’s operational and administrative matters, ongoing construction and development works, and the facilities provided to police officers and personnel. He received a briefing from the relevant officers regarding the working of Capital Patrols, field duty, and timely police response to citizens. On this occasion, IG Islamabad instructed that the officers and personnel of Capital Patrols should enhance their presence in the field, keep the patrolling system active, and ensure timely and effective police response to citizens. He also directed special attention to providing a better working environment and basic facilities for police officers and personnel. IG Islamabad stated that equipping police stations and units with better facilities according to modern policing requirements, providing quality police services to citizens, and ensuring a better working environment for police officers and personnel are among the priorities of Islamabad Police. He further stated that the ongoing reforms and activities under SIPS protocols aim to improve the environment, facilities, and quality of public services at police stations. He instructed the officers to effectively advance all measures considering citizens’ convenience, the quality of police services, and the welfare of officers and personnel, while regularly monitoring ongoing construction and development works to ensure they are completed within the specified standards and timeframes.
