Daud Khel (Zia Niazi)  An important meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas was held at the DC Office Committee Room. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the Punjab Development Program, beautification project, development plans, Clean Punjab Program, timely drainage of rainwater from the city, and other government initiatives in detail. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services Majid Bin Ahmed, Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters Umar Farooq, DD Development Shoaib Raza Khan, CEO Municipal Committee Mubashir Kaleem Gul, MD WASA Rizwan Akbar, MO I & S Mudassir Hassan, along with other relevant officials. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed the relevant officials to expedite the Punjab Development Program and the ongoing beautification wall works, and to promptly complete the remaining beautification tasks for the Urban Corridor project aimed at enhancing the city’s beauty and providing recreation for citizens. He instructed the MD WASA to ensure that all staff, along with machinery, remain active in the field for the immediate drainage of rainwater from the city during rainfall. He also directed the MD Clean Punjab to further enhance the cleanliness system in the city.
