Islamabad (Crime Reporter) – The Islamabad Police conducted grand search and combing operations in various areas. During the search operations, 217 individuals, 120 houses, 23 shops, five hotels, 59 motorcycles, and 34 vehicles were checked, while four suspicious individuals, 34 motorcycles, and 16 vehicles were also transferred to different police stations for further investigation. According to details, under the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police is continuing its series of grand combing and search operations in the federal capital to combat crime and suppress criminal elements. In this regard, grand search and combing operations were carried out in various areas under the supervision of zonal SPs. During the search operations, 217 individuals, 120 houses, 23 shops, five hotels, 59 motorcycles, and 34 vehicles were checked, while four suspicious individuals, 34 motorcycles, and 16 vehicles were also transferred to different police stations for further investigation. Furthermore, suspects involved in illegal possession of weapons were arrested, and two pistols along with ammunition of different calibers were recovered. SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza stated that the purpose of the search operation is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and to enhance security throughout the city. Search operations are being conducted in various areas of the district. The Islamabad Police continues its indiscriminate actions against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers.
