Islamabad (Crime Reporter) The Islamabad Police is moving towards modern and eco-friendly policing, with a grand flag march held to mark the inclusion of new electric vehicles into the police fleet. The march began at D-Chowk and concluded back at D-Chowk after passing through the city’s main thoroughfares.
According to details, under the leadership of IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, practical measures are underway to modernize the Islamabad Police and provide citizens with effective and timely police services. In this regard, a significant number of modern electric vehicles have been added to the Islamabad Police fleet, which will play a crucial role in enhancing patrolling, security, and field operations in the city. The grand flag march was organized on the occasion of the inclusion of the new electric vehicles, starting from D-Chowk and concluding back at D-Chowk after traversing the city’s key roads. The addition of modern electric vehicles will make police patrolling more effective across the city, expand the scope of patrolling, and strengthen monitoring of important and sensitive locations, including highways, which will aid in crime prevention. With the help of modern vehicles, the police’s response time will improve, and field operations can be carried out more swiftly and effectively. This initiative represents a significant advancement towards modern, technology-driven, and eco-friendly policing by the Islamabad Police.
