Pakistani students won 8 Best Diplomacy Awards and 2 Best Speech honors in Singapore.

Islamabad (News Reporter) A special ceremony was held to honor Pakistani students who achieved the titles of World Champion and Best Delegation at the Global Model United Nations in Singapore, organized in collaboration with the National Press Club Islamabad and the Federal Education Reporters Association (FERA). During the event, the students’ remarkable achievements were celebrated and they were congratulated. Dr. Shayan Khan, Coordinator of Westminster School, stated that Pakistani students participated in discussions, diplomatic negotiations, policy-making, and speech competitions representing various countries on global issues. Most students in the delegation were aged between 12 and 14, yet they performed excellently in a highly competitive environment alongside older students. The 10-member Pakistani delegation showcased outstanding performance among over 700 students from more than 50 countries in Singapore, winning 8 Best Diplomacy Awards and 2 Best Speech honors. On this occasion, the children expressed that global forums like Model United Nations instill confidence, diplomacy, dialogue, teamwork, and the ability to understand global issues among youth. The success of Pakistani students is proof that the country’s youth have the potential to positively represent Pakistan on the global stage when given the opportunity and resources. At the end of the ceremony, students who brought honor to Pakistan at national and international levels were praised, and a commitment was made to provide more opportunities for youth to access global educational and diplomatic platforms.
