Islamabad (Crime Reporter) The police conducted 54 grand search and combing operations in various areas during the first ten days of September.
During the search operations, 2,891 individuals, 1,404 houses, 272 shops, 76 hotels, 1,316 motorcycles, and 495 vehicles were checked, while 130 suspicious individuals and 157 motorcycles and 10 vehicles were transferred to various police stations for further investigation. During the search operations, three legal pistols along with ammunition, as well as ice, heroin, and alcohol, were also recovered.
According to details, under the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad police are continuing grand combing and search operations in various areas to combat crime and suppress criminal elements in the federal capital. Under the supervision of zonal SPs, grand search and combing operations were conducted in different areas. During the search operations, 2,891 individuals, 1,404 houses, 272 shops, 76 hotels, 1,316 motorcycles, and 495 vehicles were checked, while 130 suspicious individuals and 157 motorcycles and 10 vehicles were transferred to various police stations for further investigation. SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza stated that the purpose of the search operation is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and to enhance security throughout the city, with search operations being conducted in various areas of the district.
