Principal Claims Harassment Outside Court, Armed Men Allegedly Took Solar System, Fans and Valuables from School; Students’ Education Affected

JAMSHORO (Bureau Report): A dispute involving a school in Jamshoro has taken a serious turn, with educationist and school principal Benazir Rajar alleging that she has been threatened and harassed by influential individuals.

Benazir Rajar appeared in court for the third hearing of her case. According to her, Taj Muhammad Shoro and Khamiso Shoro allegedly harassed and threatened her outside the court premises.

The principal further alleged that armed individuals attacked the school and took away its solar system, fans and other valuable equipment. She claimed that she, as well as the parents of students, have continued to receive threats.

According to Benazir Rajar, the threats and atmosphere of fear have prevented children from attending school, seriously disrupting their education and academic activities.

She has appealed to the government, Member of the National Assembly Malik Asad Sikandar, and Member of the Provincial Assembly Dr. Sikandar Shoro to immediately provide protection to her, the school administration, students and their parents.

She also called for a transparent investigation into the alleged attack and threats and urged the authorities to take steps to restore the children’s educational activities.
