Dawood Khel (Zia Niazi) – The sewage system in Dawood Khel has become non-functional, with millions of rupees spent on sewage, while even the disposal pump worth hundreds of thousands is standing idle. A new sewage line was installed at the Dawood Khel bus stand by the municipal committee at a cost of hundreds of thousands of rupees, and a concrete slab was laid in the street next to Masjid Quba, but the sewage is presenting a lake-like scene. The government’s millions have gone down the drains, yet the sewage issue has remained unresolved for several years. Worshippers coming to Masjid Quba are facing severe difficulties, and those passing through the road, as well as students coming to the higher secondary school from tomorrow, will also have to cross the lake to reach school. Moreover, in the streets of Mohalla Salar and the alley with the primary school and madrassa, sewage water is also flowing. Meanwhile, residents of Mohalla Small Khel are troubled by the sewage, and the sewage water from the Imam Bargah to the Dera Shaib Khel road is creating a pond-like situation.
