 On this occasion, a large number of devotees visited his final resting place at the Army Cemetery in Rawalpindi, laid floral wreaths, and offered prayers.

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a presentation of Na’at in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Special prayers were then offered for the elevation of General Akhtar Abdul Rahman Khan Shaheed’s ranks, forgiveness, and the conveyance of rewards. Participants paid tribute to General Akhtar Abdul Rahman Khan Shaheed’s invaluable military services, his unparalleled efforts for national security, and the sacrifices made for the defense of Pakistan. Speakers on this occasion stated that the sacrifices of brave sons who laid down their lives for the homeland can never be forgotten by the nation. General Akhtar Abdul Rahman Khan Shaheed’s national services, determination, and sacrifices are a proud chapter in the country’s history, which the nation will always remember with reverence, respect, and pride.
