Suspect Wanted in Case of Blocking Road and Harassing Citizen Arrested with the Help of Technical and Human Intelligence; Will Be Challaned Before Court with Strong Evidence, Says SP Potohar

RAWALPINDI (Shah Rukh/Tehsil Reporter): Wah Cantt Police took action and arrested a suspect accused of blocking the way of and threatening a person with a disability.

According to police, the complainant was going to work when the suspect blocked his way and threatened him with serious consequences. Following a complaint by the affected citizen, a case was registered and an investigation was launched.

Wah Cantt Police used technical and human intelligence sources to trace and arrest the suspect.

SP Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan said that protecting the lives, property, dignity and honour of citizens, particularly persons with disabilities, was the foremost responsibility of the police.

He directed that the arrested suspect be challaned before the court with solid evidence so that legal proceedings could be carried out in accordance with the law.
