The sewage system in Dawood Khel has completely failed, causing severe difficulties for the residents. Following the news coverage of the sewage system’s failure, Deputy Commissioner of Mianwali Shahid Abbas Khatia took immediate notice and issued orders to the relevant departments. Over 280 million rupees have been allocated for the installation of new sewage lines in Dawood Khel, and two disposal pumps were installed; however, neither the sewage system has been restored nor the disposal pumps have become operational. One disposal pump was completed, but the other remains unfinished. In response, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas Khatia directed the Administrator of the Municipal Committee Dawood Khel, Assistant Commissioner Mianwali Faisal Imran, to ensure the immediate activation of the sewage lines in Dawood Khel. Consequently, the Municipal Committee has brought in machinery to clear the sewage lines at the Dawood Khel bus stand, and workers are currently engaged in this task. Residents of Dawood Khel have expressed their gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas Khatia for initiating the work.
