Firing on the police party during the recovery of abducted girls has led to a case being registered at the Dhalkot police station in Azad Kashmir. According to DPO Murree Dr. Muhammad Raza Tanveer Supra, legal action has been initiated against those involved in firing at the police party and resisting legal proceedings under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA), Sections 186, 324, and 353. The DPO stated that the Murree police will not let the sacrifices of their personnel go in vain. The primary objective of the police was to safely recover the abducted girls, which the police team accomplished despite difficult and adverse conditions. He mentioned that after the safe recovery of the girls, legal action will also be completed against those involved in the incident. The complainant will be provided full cooperation at every stage of the legal process and will not be allowed to face any difficulties. According to the DPO Murree, the complainant will be kept informed of the progress of the case and legal proceedings at every moment. Legal action against those who attacked the police party and obstructed the enforcement of law will continue without discrimination. He further stated that it is the responsibility of the Murree police to bring those involved in the incident to justice along with the recovery of the abducted girls. The protection of citizens, especially women and children, the provision of justice, and the supremacy of law are the top priorities of the Murree police.
