Dawoodkhel (Zia Niazi) – Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas, along with relevant officials, visited various areas of the city, the cricket stadium, and Maryam Nawaz Medical College. According to details, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas inspected the green belts and cleanliness systems along Talagang Road, Ghous Azam Road, PAF Road, and Mianwali Cricket Stadium. He directed the forest department officials to ensure daily maintenance of green belts and plants along the roads. He also instructed the MD of Clean Punjab to ensure daily cleaning of the central medians and green belts of the city’s roads. The Deputy Commissioner directed the District Sports Officer to ensure cleanliness of the grassy lawns and maintenance of the walking track at the cricket stadium complex. Later, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the construction work of the academic block at Maryam Nawaz Sharif Medical College. On this occasion, Executive Engineer Buildings Iftikhar Ahmed briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the construction and repair work of the college. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the Executive Engineer to expedite the construction work of the college and to use quality materials.
