Murray (Raja Usman Ali) – Police have intensified operations against drug dealers, seizing a total of 1700 grams of hashish and arresting two alleged drug dealers during two separate operations. According to the police, the operations were conducted under the supervision of SHO Phagwari Shahid Gilani. The arrested suspects have been identified as Naseem, alias Numberdar, a resident of Phagwari, and Nosham Khan, a resident of Peshawar. The police recovered a total of 1700 grams of hashish from the possession of both suspects, and separate cases have been registered against them under sections 9-C and 9-B of the Anti-Narcotics Laws. Further investigations are ongoing. SHO Shahid Gilani stated that no leniency would be shown towards drug dealers and their facilitators. Making Murray a drug-free area is the mission of his team, and operations against elements that destroy the future of the youth will continue indiscriminately. According to police officials, investigations are also underway to identify other individuals allegedly involved in the drug trade, and those found involved will be brought to justice. SHO Shahid Gilani emphasized that drug use poses a serious threat to society, especially to the younger generation. Complaints of drug dealing in the Phagwari area have been received in the past; however, since his appointment as SHO Phagwari, actions against drug dealers have been accelerated. Due to the ongoing crackdown by the police, elements allegedly involved in the drug trade within the jurisdiction of the Phagwari police station have reportedly gone underground.
