Dawood Khel (Zia Niazi)    Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas Kathia, visited Maryam Nawaz Medical College and the Municipal Club in Mianwali. According to details, Commissioner Sargodha Hafiz Shaukat Ali visited the old building of DHQ Hospital in connection with the establishment of Maryam Nawaz Medical College and reviewed the construction and renovation work of the college’s academic block. On this occasion, Executive Engineer Buildings Iftikhar Ahmed briefed him, stating that the construction and renovation work of the college’s academic block and hostel commenced on April 20, and the restoration and renovation work of the medical college has been ongoing regularly for three weeks. During the visit, Commissioner Sargodha stated that the establishment of a medical college in Mianwali is a philanthropic initiative by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, which will benefit not only the citizens here but also thousands of students across the province, leading to the development of the area. He instructed the Deputy Commissioner to monitor the restoration and renovation work of the college on a daily basis. Commissioner Sargodha directed the Executive Engineer Buildings to ensure that the construction work of the medical college is completed within the stipulated time and that quality materials are used in the construction. Subsequently, Commissioner Sargodha visited the Municipal Club Mianwali and inspected the newly constructed paddle court and cricket arena. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner briefed him that the paddle court and cricket arena were constructed under modern sports initiatives to engage the younger generation in healthy activities.
