Anti-Corruption officials in Gujar Khan conducted a trap raid, resulting in the arrest of Union Council 67 Panj Gran’s Secretary, Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah, for allegedly accepting a bribe.

An amount of 20,000 rupees, purportedly the bribe, was recovered from the scene. A case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.

(Sanobar Kiani) According to Anti-Corruption officials in Rawalpindi, the operation was carried out through a trap raid, during which the alleged bribe amount of 20,000 rupees was seized. Officials stated that the bribe money was confiscated on-site.

Anti-Corruption has registered case number 09/26 against the arrested suspect, Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah. The case has been filed under Section 161 of the Pakistan Penal Code and Section 5(2)47 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

According to Anti-Corruption officials, further investigation of the arrested suspect is ongoing.
