Allama Syed Riaz Hussain Shah, the chief patron of the Institute of Islamic Education, Sarhad Road, stated that Pakistan’s Defense Day is not just a day to remember a historical event but an opportunity to renew our pledge of loyalty to our homeland. September 6 reminds us of those sons who prioritized the defense of the country over their own lives.

In his important statement on the occasion of Defense Day, he said that nations defend their homeland not only on the battlefronts but also through their character, discipline, unity, and responsibility. Today, to strengthen Pakistan, we must utilize our abilities in the national interest and instill a spirit of patriotism, integrity, and service to humanity in the new generation. Allama Syed Riaz Hussain Shah emphasized that the true respect for the sacrifices of the martyrs is to fulfill our responsibilities, uphold the law, promote brotherhood instead of hatred in society, and play a positive role in the construction and development of Pakistan. He stated that those who sacrifice for the defense of the homeland are our national assets, and their struggle sends us the message that the security of the homeland is a collective responsibility, and for this purpose, the entire nation must unite and move forward. He paid tribute to the martyrs and veterans, expressing the hope that Pakistan remains forever strong, its borders secure, and its people prosperous, which is the prayer and desire of every patriot.
