Dawood Khel (Zia Niazi) – Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas, accompanied by relevant officials, visited Mianwali city and Maryam Nawaz Medical College. During the visit, he reviewed the washing and cleanliness of the city’s roads under the Clean Punjab Program, as well as the ongoing construction and repair work at Maryam Nawaz Medical College. The Deputy Commissioner directed the MD of Clean Punjab to clear the wild bushes around the GPO Chowk Bridge to the canal bridge and ensure cleanliness. He also visited other areas of the city and checked the cleanliness system on-site. The DC met with local residents and inquired about the cleanliness system. He instructed the Clean Punjab officials to ensure better cleanliness in all streets and neighborhoods of the city while directing the district administration officials to regularly monitor the Clean Punjab Program staff. Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited Maryam Nawaz Medical College and reviewed the ongoing construction and repair work in the hostel block. He instructed the building department officials and the relevant contractor to deploy additional labor to complete the hostel construction and repair work within the stipulated time.
