FIA crackdown on human smuggler, arrested for defrauding 442,000 rupees under the pretext of sending to UAE

Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad’s operation, case registered, further investigation ongoing

Islamabad (Report: Izhar Khan Niazi) The FIA Islamabad Zone has arrested human smuggler and agent Sami Ahmed, son of Chaman Mahboob, during an operation against elements involved in human trafficking and visa fraud.

The FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle team arrested the suspect in case number 123/26. According to officials, a case has been registered against the suspect under sections 406, 420, 468, and 109 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

FIA officials stated that the suspect allegedly defrauded the complainant of 442,000 rupees by promising to send him to the United Arab Emirates.

The operation was carried out by the FIA’s raiding team, which included Inspector Muhammad Azeem and ASI Mazhar Shah. Further investigation of the arrested suspect is ongoing.

FIA officials have stated that legal actions will continue indiscriminately against elements involved in human trafficking, visa fraud, and defrauding citizens under the pretext of overseas employment.
