A grand Milad conference was organized by the Minhaj-ul-Quran Movement in Liaquat Bagh, where thousands of people from the city participated, including a large number of women. The stage was adorned with scholars, members of the business community, lawyers, teachers, and representatives from various walks of life. Liaquat Bagh was beautifully decorated, and four large screens were installed at different locations for the convenience of the audience. The Minhaj Youth League and the Mustafavi Students Movement efficiently managed parking, security, stalls, and other administrative matters. Participants remained engaged throughout the four-hour long program, which was a masterpiece of organizational discipline from start to finish. The enthusiasm of the attendees was remarkable, with hundreds of families, including children, in attendance. The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, received a grand welcome upon his arrival. Renowned reciters and Naat Khawans of the city presented flowers of devotion in the court of the Almighty and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri delivered an insightful speech on the aspect of listening in the character of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), stating that the Prophet was the best listener, who paid full attention to everyone and resolved their issues. Hypocrites took undue advantage of this, wasting the Prophet’s time with false and fabricated stories, yet he never rejected them. The marginalized groups, whom no one would listen to, received the most attention from the Prophet (PBUH). Due to the lack of listening to others, our society has fallen prey to many social issues today. The conference was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Jigar Ghosha Hazrat Pir Mehr Ali Shah, Pir Syed Junaid-ul-Haq Gilani, Pir Muhammad Saad-ur-Rehman Naqshbandi Mujaddidi, and many others from various fields. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri emphasized that in the current era, everyone is drifting apart, love is fading, and hatred is rising, leading to the disintegration of the family system. To create a society based on the teachings of the Prophet, we must adopt his principles, promote dialogue in all walks of life, and forgive each other’s mistakes and shortcomings. At the end, Jigar Ghosha Hazrat Pir Mehr Ali Shah Pir Syed Junaid-ul-Haq Gilani delivered the presidential remarks, and Pir Muhammad Saad-ur-Rehman Naqshbandi Mujaddidi, the Sajada Nasheen of the Aastana Aliyah Eidgah Sharif, offered a prayer.
