 *Special measures for the care of plants on the green belts of Murree Road* 

Rawalpindi (News Reporter) The Horticulture Agency of Rawalpindi is taking special measures to beautify, green, and enhance the appearance of the city’s main thoroughfare, Murree Road. Special attention is being given to the cleaning, beautification, and maintenance of the green belts, medians, and surrounding green areas along Murree Road.
The field staff of the Horticulture Agency is regularly providing water to the plants and seasonal flowers on the green belts, while also carrying out essential horticultural activities such as grass cutting, pruning of plants and shrubs, weeding, and cleaning.
To improve the condition of the green belts at various locations along Murree Road, landscaping and the planting of seasonal flowers and environmentally friendly plants are also underway, aiming to further enhance the beauty of the road and provide a pleasant environment for citizens.
MD of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi, Ahmad Hassan Ranjha, stated that Murree Road, being a vital thoroughfare of the city, deserves special attention. It is not enough to beautify the green belts; continuous maintenance and timely care of the plants are also essential, for which the field staff has been kept active.
He added that lush green belts play a significant role in enhancing the city’s beauty, reducing environmental pollution, and providing citizens with a clean and healthy environment. The beautification of parks, green belts, and major roads will continue to make Rawalpindi greener and more beautiful.
MD Ahmad Hassan Ranjha has instructed the relevant officials to ensure effective monitoring of cleanliness and plant care in all important green belts and parks in the city, including Murree Road.
He also appealed to citizens to support the Horticulture Agency in keeping the green belts clean, protecting the plants, and maintaining the city’s beauty.
