A human smuggler, Ibrahim Khan, was arrested for swindling 2.2 million rupees under the pretext of obtaining a Denmark employment visa.

The FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad conducted the operation, and the suspect was apprehended while attempting to flee abroad, as his name appeared on the stop list during immigration clearance.

Islamabad (Report: Izhhar Khan Niazi) The FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad has arrested Ibrahim Khan, who was wanted in a human trafficking case numbered 290/2025 and was attempting to escape abroad.

According to the case details, the accused promised victims that they would provide them with Denmark employment visas in exchange for 2.2 million rupees each, most of which had already been paid by the victims. The suspect was trying to leave the country when he was arrested due to his name appearing on the stop list in the IBMS system during immigration clearance.

According to FIA officials, the arrested suspect has been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad for further legal action and investigation, while efforts are ongoing to determine the roles of other accomplices and facilitators.

The FIA Islamabad Zone has reiterated its commitment to continue indiscriminate actions against elements involved in human trafficking and illegal immigration.
