Dawood Khel (Zia Niazi) – An important meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas was held at the DC Office Committee Room. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the Punjab Development Program, Beautification Project, development projects, Clean Punjab Program, timely drainage of rainwater from the city, and other government initiatives in detail. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services Majid Bin Ahmed, Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters Umar Farooq, DD Development Shoaib Raza Khan, CEO Municipal Committee Mubashir Kaleem Gul, MD Wasa Rizwan Akbar, MO I & S Mudassir Hassan, along with other relevant officials. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the relevant officials to expedite the Punjab Development Program and the ongoing Beautification Wall projects, and to complete the remaining beautification works of the Urban Corridor project for the city’s aesthetics and citizens’ recreation immediately. He directed the MD Wasa to keep all staff, along with machinery, active in the field for the immediate drainage of rainwater from the city during rainfall. He also instructed the MD Clean Punjab to further enhance the cleanliness system in the city.
