Islamabad (Bureau Report) Islamabad High Court Justice Azam Khan has issued an important order regarding Constitutional Petition No. 4436/2026 against the extremely poor condition of Golra Road. The court directed the relevant authorities to take immediate steps for the repair, improvement, and usability of Golra Road for citizens.
The petitioners, Malik Imran Ilahi and Malik Anas Faraz, argued that Golra Road has been in a state of disrepair for a long time, causing severe difficulties for local residents and daily commuters.
The petition was represented by Advocates Malik M Zubair Golra, Raja Abdul Hafeez, Malik Iftikhar Ahmed, Akhtar Awan Khokhar, Ghulam Yaseen Awan, Khalid Farooq, Muhammad Ali Shah, and Rana Ahsan.
The court also instructed the CDA, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad, and Secretary Interior to submit their responses and reports to the court.
