Islamabad (Crime Reporter) Islamabad Police conducted grand search and combing operations in various areas. During the search operations, 159 individuals, 85 houses, eight shops, 90 motorcycles, and 27 vehicles were checked, while 26 suspicious individuals and 11 motorcycles were transferred to various police stations for further investigation. Firearms along with ammunition were also recovered during the search operations.
According to details, under the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police is continuing grand combing and search operations in the federal capital to combat crime and suppress criminal elements. In this regard, grand search and combing operations were carried out in various areas under the supervision of zonal SPs. During the search operations, 159 individuals, 85 houses, eight shops, 90 motorcycles, and 27 vehicles were checked, while 26 suspicious individuals and 11 motorcycles were transferred to various police stations for further investigation. Firearms along with ammunition were also recovered during the search operations. Furthermore, suspects involved in illegal possession of firearms were arrested, and two pistols along with ammunition of various calibers were also recovered. SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza stated that the purpose of the search operation is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and enhance security throughout the city. Search operations are being conducted in various areas of the district. Islamabad Police continues its indiscriminate actions against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers. Citizens are requested to immediately inform the relevant police station or the emergency helpline ‘Pukar’ 15 about any suspicious activity.
