Islamabad (News Reporter) Major political developments have occurred in the politics of Sudhnuti District in Azad Kashmir, delivering a significant blow to the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Pakistan Muslim League (N). Several influential political families and prominent leaders have left other parties to join the Pakistan Stability Party under the leadership of Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan. The joining ceremony has sparked a new debate in the political landscape of Poonch Division, particularly in Sudhnuti and Baloch. In a grand joining ceremony held at the central secretariat in Islamabad, key political leaders and workers from various union councils, led by former presidential advisor Sardar Inayatullah Arif, expressed their confidence in the leadership of Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, President of the Pakistan Stability Party and former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, announcing their joining of the IPP. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan welcomed the newcomers by draping them with party scarves. Addressing the ceremony, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan stated that the Pakistan Stability Party will enter the elections in Poonch Division with full force and will achieve a heavy majority. He noted that the staggered elections had harmed the IPP, but now the party will be present in the electoral arena in Poonch with its political strength and the full energy of its workers. He emphasized that political workers are the true asset of any party, and their hard work and struggle strengthen political parties; without workers, the concept of politics is incomplete. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan mentioned that his government conducted local body elections in Azad Kashmir, and despite the federal government not providing security forces, the elections were completed peacefully with the help of the Azad Kashmir Police, without a single knife being drawn throughout the state. However, he pointed out that the current situation in Azad Kashmir is evident, with people living in fear, some areas lacking phone service and internet access, and the public unable to participate in each other’s joys and sorrows. He recounted that he was targeted in an assassination attempt while going to his constituency, and he assured that they are ready to play their role wherever needed to improve the state’s conditions. On this occasion, Sardar Inayatullah Arif, the candidate of the Pakistan Stability Party from Baloch LA-24, also expressed his political strength, stating that they will address all the grievances of the Baloch constituency once in power and will fight for the rights of the people to the last limit, resolving issues at their doorstep. He added that the people of Baloch want change, and the IPP will live up to their trust.
