Meeting of District Resolution Committee Held Under the Chairmanship of Murree Deputy Commissioner

Murree (Raja Usman Ali) An important meeting of the District Resolution Committee (DRC) was held at the DC office under the chairmanship of Murree Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, where issues related to the peaceful resolution of disputes in the district, timely redressal of public complaints, and the effectiveness of mediation efforts were reviewed. The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Murree Captain (R) Arshad Iqbal, SDO Para, officials from the Revenue Department, and relevant SHOs.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that the role of the District Resolution Committee is crucial in reducing the burden of traditional judicial proceedings and resolving disputes through mutual consent. He instructed the committee members to ensure transparency, impartiality, and speed in resolving public disputes so that citizens can receive immediate and easy justice. A detailed review of pending cases was also conducted during the meeting, and relevant officials were directed to work under mutual coordination and effective strategies to provide relief to the public.
