Patrolling Police at Thakra Mor has arrested a wanted criminal.

Khurram Nawaz, who was wanted in a case, has been taken into custody and handed over to the Jatli police station for further action.

Gujar Khan (Sinober Kiani) – The Patrolling Police Post at Thakra Mor arrested a wanted criminal and handed him over to the Jatli police station for further legal proceedings. According to Sub-Inspector Sher Khan, in charge of the Patrolling Post Thakra Mor, the action was carried out under the directives of SSP Regional Officer Ghazi Faisal Saleem and District Officer PHP DSP Fayyaz-ul-Haq.

He stated that the patrolling party, along with Lady Constable Rabia and other personnel, was performing duties of patrolling and setting up checkpoints when they checked the details of a suspicious individual. During verification with the police database, the person was identified as Khurram Nawaz, son of Ali Nawaz, resident of Mohri, Post Office Ghazial, Tehsil and District Chakwal.

According to the police, upon checking the records, it was revealed that Khurram Nawaz had been declared a wanted criminal by the court in case number 481/23, dated June 5, 2023, under Section 25-D of the Telegraph Act, registered at the Thana Thingi in District Vehari.

The Patrolling Police arrested the wanted suspect on the spot, completed the necessary legal formalities, and handed him over to the Jatli police station for further legal action and detention.
