A monthly gathering for the remembrance and Quranic lessons was held at the Islamic Education Institute on Sarseyd Road, attended by hundreds of men and women. The event was hosted by Allama Hafiz Sheikh Muhammad Qasim, Deputy Director. In his address, the Chief Patron Allama Syed Riaz Hussain Shah stated that strengthening the Islamic family system is a crucial need of the time, while the increasing incidents of divorce and separation are a cause for concern for society. He noted that irresponsible use of social media, unnecessary connections, and unrealistic comparisons with others’ lives are affecting family relationships. He emphasized the need to promote the positive and ethical use of social media, while parents should pay special attention to the upbringing and character building of their children. Allama Hafiz Sheikh Muhammad Qasim also spoke, highlighting the importance of social reform and Islamic teachings in light of the Quran and Sunnah. At the end of the gathering, special prayers were offered for the safety and prosperity of the country, the nation, the Muslim Ummah, and the younger generation.
