Murree (Raja Usman Ali) In light of the ongoing law and order situation in Murree district, the Deputy Commissioner of Murree has issued an order for immediate precautionary measures under Section 144. According to the order issued by the district administration, gatherings of more than 5 individuals, illegal assemblies, sit-ins, rallies, processions, protests, and other such activities have been prohibited around Mall Road. The order states that this ban will be in effect for 7 days, from September 11 to September 17, 2026. However, family gatherings have been exempted from this ban. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Murree, illegal gatherings in the current law and order situation can become easy targets for terrorists and miscreants, which is why this measure has been taken to ensure public peace and safety. The order further states that in case of any violation during the ban, legal action will be taken, and relevant authorities have been directed to ensure strict enforcement of the order.
