Sialkot (Waseem Malik) – Malik Khurshid Awan, the candidate for Chairman of Union Council Kotli Loharan Ward No. 3 and a political and social district leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), stated on the occasion of Pakistan’s Defense Day that September 6 is a great and unforgettable day in our national history, when the soldiers of the Pakistan Army and the nation set a remarkable example of defending our homeland by thwarting the enemy’s nefarious designs. He said that the sacrifices of the martyrs and veterans who laid down their lives for the defense and security of the country are a beacon of light for the entire nation. We pay tribute to the great sacrifices of our martyrs and also salute their families who contributed to the protection of the homeland by sacrificing their loved ones. Malik Khurshid Awan emphasized that on this day, we should renew our commitment that the entire nation will remain united for the security, sovereignty, and stability of Pakistan. Political differences aside, the development, prosperity, and national security of Pakistan are our collective responsibility. He further stated that in the current circumstances, promoting national unity, tolerance, brotherhood, and cooperation with national institutions is a pressing need of the time. We must play our part in building a strong, prosperous, and developed Pakistan while advancing the mission of our martyrs. Malik Khurshid Awan concluded by praying for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs of the homeland and for the security, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan.
