Islamabad (Crime Reporter) SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza provided a special briefing to beat officers from all police stations. He instructed them to take effective action against criminal elements, enhance patrols within their jurisdictions, and ensure prompt police response. Orders were issued for beat officers to focus on active, effective, and result-oriented field policing to protect citizens’ lives and property.
According to details, following special directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza reviewed matters related to effective patrolling, crime prevention, action against criminal elements, and timely police response to citizens. He directed beat officers to make their patrols more effective and keep a close watch on the activities of criminal elements. During patrols, they should ensure monitoring of suspicious individuals, vehicles, and unusual activities, and take immediate and effective action on any reports received. He stated that a continuous and effective police presence at the police station level plays a crucial role in crime prevention, so beat officers should pay special attention to important and sensitive locations in their areas and maintain effective communication with citizens. SSP Operations Islamabad also instructed that all beat officers keep their official vehicles operational and ready for use at all times, ensuring regular checks on vehicle fitness, necessary equipment, and communication systems to enable timely police response during patrols and emergencies. He further directed beat officers to assess crime trends in their areas and ensure prompt action against criminal elements, absconders, and suspicious activities. He emphasized that beat officers are a vital field arm of the police station, with the primary responsibility of maintaining effective police presence in their areas, providing immediate assistance to citizens, and timely crime prevention. SSP Operations Islamabad stated that the Islamabad Police will utilize all available resources to strengthen field policing for crime prevention, effective action against criminal elements, and the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
