According to details, Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza visited various duty points in the city and conducted a detailed assessment of the duties, security arrangements, and checking processes of the police officers and personnel stationed there. During the visit, the SSP met with police officers and personnel on duty and instructed them to carry out security duties with utmost responsibility, alertness, and professionalism. He stated that any negligence or shortcoming in security arrangements for the protection of citizens’ lives and property would not be tolerated. The SSP Operations Islamabad directed that effective checking of suspicious vehicles, motorcycles, and individuals be ensured, complete adherence to all security SOPs, and prompt and effective action in case of any suspicious activity. He also instructed officers to remain vigilant at their respective duty points and to keep a close watch on the surrounding environment. He further emphasized that all necessary arrangements and an immediate response system should be kept active at all times to effectively handle any emergency situation. Officers in the field should continuously monitor the situation and ensure timely measures to enhance security. The SSP instructed police officers and personnel to interact with citizens with kindness, courtesy, and respect, stating that the best balance should be maintained between public convenience and effective security, so that citizens feel safe and confident. He added that the Islamabad Police is performing its duties in the field with full responsibility and professional spirit for the protection of citizens’ lives and property and the maintenance of law and order in the city. The process of effective monitoring, improvement of security arrangements, and provision of a safe environment for citizens will continue uninterrupted.
