He stated that to prevent such incidents in the future, it is essential to strengthen and enhance safety measures in hospitals. The lives and health of children are extremely valuable, and any negligence or carelessness in this matter cannot be tolerated. The bravery of the life-saving nurse should serve as a role model for us and she certainly deserves a medal of bravery. Nawaz Basra emphasized that strict implementation of security, surveillance, medical facilities, and safety protocols should be ensured in hospitals, especially in children’s wards and nurseries. In the event of any unfortunate incident, immediate and transparent investigations should be conducted to bring the facts to light, and if negligence is proven, those responsible should be identified and legal action taken accordingly.
