Daud Khel (Zia Niazi) – The dilapidated condition of the bridge on Kalabagh Kot Chandna Road could lead to a major accident at any time. According to details, the seasonal stream has washed away the foundation under the bridge on the Kot Chandna Kalabagh Road, causing the bridge’s foundations to become hollow. If the Highway Department does not take timely action, further seasonal streams will continue to erode the bridge’s foundations, increasing the risk of collapse. Local residents have urged Deputy Commissioner Mianwali Shahid Abbas Khatia and the Executive Engineer of the Highway Department to immediately reconstruct the bridge’s foundations; otherwise, more sections will wash away, and the bridge could collapse at any moment, posing a risk of a major fatal accident. Therefore, stone foundations should be constructed in the bridge’s base to strengthen it and prevent the loss of millions of rupees for the government and the Highway Department.
